PADI Divemaster is your first professional rating · the bridge from recreational diver to dive industry pro. You assist instructors on courses, lead certified divers, run briefings, plan dives, and manage the boat. We run two tracks: a 14-day intensive (theory + 8 workshops + practical assessment + 4 internship sessions) or a 21-day blended internship (full assistant role on every PADI course we run that week, 30-50 logged dives during the program). Hurghada is one of the busiest training destinations in the world · 4-5 dives a day, 7 sites in our rotation, real students every week.

What you'll do
14-21 days depending on track. Self-paced eLearning before arriving (30-40 hours). On-site: 8 PADI Divemaster workshops, 24 skill demonstrations to PADI Demonstration Quality, mapping practice, internship rotations on real PADI courses (Discover Scuba, Open Water, Advanced, Rescue), Snorkeling Supervisor scenario, and the Divemaster Final Exam (paper, 80% pass).
Prerequisites
- PADI Rescue Diver (or any agency equivalent) · we run Rescue too if you need to add it · €420
- EFR Primary + Secondary Care current within 24 months
- Minimum 40 logged dives to enrol · 60 logged dives to certify (we log 4-5 per day during the program)
- Min age 18
- Medical statement signed by a physician (mandatory at the pro level)
01 · Days 1-3
Foundation
Knowledge reviews on the PADI manual chapters, Risk Management workshop, mapping practice in shallow water · you draw the underwater map of one of our reefs to PADI standard.
02 · Days 4-7
Skill demonstrations
All 24 PADI Open Water skills demonstrated to PADI Demonstration Quality. We film them on day 7 · you self-debrief and redo any that aren't there yet. The skill demo is the bottleneck for most candidates.
03 · Days 8-12
Internship rotations
Real assistant role on whatever course is running that week · Discover Scuba, Open Water, Advanced. You shadow the instructor, then take over individual modules under their supervision. Most candidates log 25-35 dives in this block.
04 · Days 13-14
Final assessment
Snorkeling Supervisor scenario in shallow water · we play 'students who don't follow the brief' and you manage the situation. Paper exam · 80 % pass. Then paperwork, application sign-off, photo for your card.
