Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Hurghada Dive. By booking a service, activity, or course through our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

1. Booking and Confirmation

  • All bookings are confirmed via email or WhatsApp once full details are provided.

  • A booking is considered valid only after confirmation from our team.

  • Please provide accurate information (name, hotel, date, number of divers/snorkelers, and certification level if applicable).

2. Payment Policy

  • Payments can be made in cash (EUR, USD, EGP) or by card upon request.

  • Some activities may require a small deposit to secure your spot.

  • Prices are listed per person and include taxes unless stated otherwise.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the trip are free of charge.

  • Cancellations made within less than 24 hours may be charged 50% of the total cost.

  • No-shows on the day of the trip are charged the full amount.

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed using the same method of payment.

4. Weather and Sea Conditions

  • All diving and boat trips depend on weather and sea conditions.

  • In case of strong wind or unsafe sea conditions, we may reschedule or change the itinerary for safety reasons.

  • If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be offered.

5. Diving Requirements

  • Certified divers must present a valid diving certification card (PADI, SSI, CMAS, or equivalent).

  • For Intro Diving and beginner programs, no certification is required.

  • Diving is not permitted for pregnant women, people under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or anyone with medical conditions that may affect safe diving.

  • You must fill out a medical questionnaire before diving.

6. Liability and Insurance

  • All guests participate in activities at their own risk.

  • Hurghada Dive and its staff are not responsible for loss, injury, or damage to personal property during the trip.

  • We strongly recommend that all guests have travel and diving insurance covering medical emergencies and diving activities.

7. Equipment and Safety

  • All equipment provided by Hurghada Dive is regularly maintained and checked before every trip.

  • Guests who bring personal equipment are responsible for its proper maintenance.

  • Our instructors and dive guides follow international PADI safety standards.

8. Certification Courses

  • All PADI courses are conducted by certified PADI instructors.

  • Course fees include training, instructor supervision, and certification fees unless otherwise stated.

  • Students must meet all performance requirements and complete all dives to receive certification.

9. Transfers and Pick-up

  • Transfers from all hotels inside Hurghada are included in most programs.

  • Pick-up from Makadi, El Gouna, or Sahl Hasheesh may require an additional fee (€10 per person).

10. Privacy Policy

  • Personal information such as name, email, and hotel details is collected only for booking purposes.

  • We do not share or sell personal information to third parties.

  • By booking with us, you consent to our use of your information to provide the requested service.
