PADI Open Water Diver Course
The world's most popular dive cert. 3-4 days in Hurghada, €330, lifetime card.
PADI Open Water Hurghada is the entry-level scuba certification used by over 25 million divers worldwide. You complete the PADI eLearning in your own time before you fly, do three days of in-water training in the Red Sea, and finish certified to dive to 18 metres anywhere on the planet. The card never expires. Same syllabus you'd get in Australia or the Maldives, run for €330 instead of €600+.

- Basic medical fitness: signed PADI self-declaration, doctor's note required for any flagged conditions
- Swim 200 m unaided plus tread water for 10 minutes, assessed on day 1
- Avoid flying for 18-24 hours after the final dive
01 · Before arrival
PADI eLearning at home
We send your eLearning login the moment you book. Five chapters of theory plus knowledge reviews. Takes most students 6-10 hours, done at your own pace from the sofa. Saves a full day of classroom time once you arrive in Hurghada.
02 · Day 1
Confined-water skills
Morning: swim assessment plus the first confined-water session in shallow water (1.5-2 m). Afternoon: second confined-water session covering all 24 PADI Open Water skills. By dinner you can clear a flooded mask, share air, and hover neutrally.
03 · Day 2
Open Water dives 1 and 2
Boat trip to a beginner-friendly Hurghada reef (typically Gota Abu Ramada or El Fanadir). Two dives: skills repeated in open water, then a proper guided tour of the reef. Max depth 12 m.
04 · Day 3
Open Water dives 3 and 4
Boat to a slightly deeper Red Sea dive site. Two dives with the final skills assessment, then a tour to 18 m. Temporary PADI card issued at the end of the day, plastic card posted 2-3 weeks later.

“Best decision of our trip. Got my Open Water in three days with Karim, then we did two daily-dive days · the captain picked the sites and we ended up on quiet reefs with almost no other boats around. Pickup was on time every morning.”

“Endlich eine Tauchbasis, die genau das macht, was sie sagt. Mein Guide sprach perfekt Deutsch, kleine Gruppen, gut gewartete Ausrüstung. Abu Nuhas war ein Highlight.”
Thomas K. · DE
“Une équipe vraiment internationale. Aucun acompte demandé, prix transparents, et un site de plongée différent chaque jour. On revient l'année prochaine, c'est sûr.”
