PADI ReActivate is the official scuba refresher for certified divers who have not dived in 12 months or more. Quick knowledge review on a tablet, a shallow skills session at 5 m to repeat the four core skills (mask clear, regulator recovery, hover, share air), then a guided reef dive at 12 m with the instructor next to you. The program is the standard prerequisite operators ask for after long breaks · we run it on the morning of your first dive day so you don't lose a holiday.

What you'll do
Half-day program. 30 minutes of PADI ReActivate eLearning at the dive base on a tablet (or do it from home before you fly · we send the link). Then we kit you up, run the four core skills standing in 5 m of confined water, and finish with a 30-40 minute reef dive at 12 m. Total day around 4 hours including hotel pickup. You re-enter the database as 'current', and your card stays the same.
Prerequisites
- Open Water (any agency) certification, current or expired
- Last dive 12+ months ago · we'll book you straight into a fun dive day if it's been less
- Basic medical fitness (PADI self-declaration on arrival)
- Avoid flying for 18 hours after the dive
01 · Morning
ReActivate eLearning + skills brief
30-minute knowledge review on the tablet covering the four core safety topics (gas planning, equipment, dive planning, emergency procedures). Then we kit you up and walk you to the shallow water for the skills brief.
02 · Late morning
Skills practice + reef dive
Five to ten minutes practising mask clear, regulator recovery, hover, and share air at 5 m. Once you're confident, we move into open water for a 30-40 minute guided reef dive at 12 m. Instructor stays with you the whole way.
